transmitCHINA starts generating results and still a week out

Victoria B.C. (April 23, 2009) - With six days still to go before the kick off of transmitCHINA, opportunities are already being realized for attending artists and professionals. "It's interesting that Chinese promoters in Beijing and Shanghai are already making moves with some of our showcasing artists," says transmitCHINA producer Tyl van Toorn. "Additional tour dates and media opportunities are coming in very quickly. This is very indicative of how we saw Chinese industry professionals respond to prospects we created last year."

Canada Day Celebration 2009

TNT has been the event producer for Victoria, BC’s Canada Day celebration since 2000. We oversee production management and artistic programming. In the past, this has included everything from a free concert by Canadian rock group Big Sugar to the annual fireworks display. Canada Day draws an audience of more than 50,000 to the city’s Inner Harbour. This year’s line up is: Elliott Brood, Pacifika, Ali Milner and Uminari Taiko

Luminara 2009

Presented by the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, Luminara is a one-day community lantern festival that attracts 15,000 people to Beacon Hill Park and St. Ann’s Academy annually.
